.. py:class:: SpectrumComparisonPlot(ds1, ds2, figsize, custom_figure, lock_zoom, use_residuals, **kwargs)

   Bases: :py:obj:`pylbo.visualisation.spectra.spectrum_figure.SpectrumFigure`

   Subclass to compare two spectra.

   :param ds1: First dataset, will be placed on the left side.
   :type ds1: ~pylbo.data_containers.LegolasDataSet
   :param ds2: Second dataset for comparison, will be placed on the right side.
   :type ds2: ~pylbo.data_containers.LegolasDataSet
   :param figsize: Figure size used when creating a window, analogous to matplotlib.
   :type figsize: tuple
   :param custom_figure: The custom figure to use in the form (fig, axes).
   :type custom_figure: tuple
   :param lock_zoom: If `True`, locks the zoom for both spectrum plots.
   :type lock_zoom: bool
   :param use_residuals: If `True`, colors the spectrum points based on the residuals.
   :type use_residuals: bool

   .. attribute:: ax2

      The (top)right axes object.

      :type: ~matplotlib.axes.Axes

   .. attribute:: panel1

      The spectrum instance associated with the left side.

      :type: ~pylbo.visualisation.spectra.SingleSpectrumPlot

   .. attribute:: panel2

      The spectrum instance associated with the right side.

      :type: ~pylbo.visualisation.spectra.SingleSpectrumPlot

   .. py:method:: set_x_scaling(x_scaling)

      Overloads parent method, calls x scaling setter for each panel.

      :param x_scaling: The scaling to apply to the x-axis
      :type x_scaling: int, float, complex, numpy.ndarray

   .. py:method:: set_y_scaling(y_scaling)

      Overloads parent method, calls y scaling setter for each panel.

      :param y_scaling: The scaling to apply to the y-axis
      :type y_scaling: int, float, complex, numpy.ndarray

   .. py:method:: _use_custom_axes()

      Splits the original 1x2 plot into a 2x2 plot.

   .. py:method:: add_spectrum() -> None

      Adds the spectra for both datasets
