Arguments

Type	Intent	Optional	Attributes		Name
class(*),	intent(in)			::	array(:,:)	the original array
character(len=*),	intent(in),	optional		::	label	optional label for matrix datastructure

Return Value type(matrix_t)

the resulting matrix datastructure
